Tap Across the Floor, Level 3 by Al Gilbert, was created as a companion to grades 4 and 5 of Al Gilbert’s Tap Syllabus. This material is at the low intermediate to solid intermediate level. Video play time – 40 minutes.
This class begins with an extensive center floor warm-up that strengthens the ankles and the tibialis anterior muscles, giving the dancers control and those “fast feet” tap teachers like to see.
These across-the-floor exercises are 2-4 minutes long to offer a good sense of “drilling” the technique with repetitive patterns. This is a video/music/notation bundle.
