Al Gilbert has created more for the dance studio than any other person. His company, Stepping Tones, continued to offer dance teachers material from 1952 until he passed in 2003. Upon his passing, Doug Shaffer changed the name of the company to MusicWorks. Now, Darryl Retter continues Mr Gilbert’s goal. And that is simply to make life for dance teachers easier.
